The bus is a 1977 MCI MC-8
My husband Derrick has been doing the whole conversion by himself!!!
The following pics are of the inside of the bus when we bought it, the outside compartments, and the motor.
The first thing that we had to do before we could do anything else was strip the seats, walls, and ceiling.
Next Derrick outlined where the furniture, cabinets, and appliances will go in masking tape.
living room and kitchen
Putting the floor in
The first layer is plywood, then a layer of plastic, then the beautiful Pergo laminate flooring.
Gluing the windows shut so he can add the insulation and walls. Siding will go on the outside of the windows later.
Framing the walls so that he can run electrical wires in them.
The ceiling is all tongue and groove pine
The electrical panel above the fridge
Building the master bed. The top lifts up for extra storage. Also a picture of 1 of the 2 identical master closets (not completed yet).
The following pictures are the completed walls and the start of the shower.

Derrick and Michelle,
That’s the most beautiful bus conversion I’ve ever seen and it’s not even finished yet. Can’t wait to move on to the next phase.
